You’re not imagining it
Most pools out here were built between the late seventies and the early 2000s. Plaster is a wearing surface — it is meant to be replaced. In Southern California it generally gives you eight to twelve years, and pebble fifteen to twenty.
Hard water, a sun that does not quit from May to October, and the swing between a Riverside afternoon and a January night wear a surface down faster here than almost anywhere else. If yours looks tired, it is simply time.

Twenty-one years on pools in the Inland Empire and more than a hundred renovations, and Oscar still works alongside his own sons. No call center, no revolving door of subcontractors — the same small family crew is in your backyard from the first day to the last.
That is not only about trust, it is why the work holds. Resurfacing, tile, coping and the plumbing behind the surface are four different trades, and on most jobs they are four different companies arguing about who was supposed to be ready. Here nobody is handing off, so nobody is blaming. And it gets done the way we would want it done at our own house, because it is our own name on it.
We come out and look at the pool ourselves — free, at your house, on your schedule. We measure the perimeter, check the shell, the tile and the coping, and bring samples you can hold and stand on in the sun. Then you get one fixed number in writing, line by line, with what is included and what is not.

From $7,800
Most pool resurfacing and remodeling projects start around $7,800 — that is demolition and a regular plaster finish on a typical pool. The same pool in mini pebble starts closer to $10,500, because the material costs more and lasts considerably longer.
From there it moves with what you decide to include. Waterline tile, new coping, structural work or the deck around the pool all add to it, and they are each worth having — but they are separate decisions, and you are allowed to do only the surface. New pool construction starts around $80,000 for a regular pool and is quoted on its own.
These are approximate starting figures for orientation only. They are not a quote and they are not a price promise. Your number depends on your city, the condition of the shell, the finish you choose and how we get equipment into the yard — which is exactly why we come out and look before putting a price on it. You get one fixed number in writing after that visit, free, and it does not move afterwards.
Financing is available. If the number is the thing standing between you and the pool you want, ask us about it when you call. It is worth knowing your options before you decide on the scope, not after.

On site it is Oscar or one of his sons, every day the job is running. Same family, same crew, same people you met at the estimate. You always know who to call, because it is the same person every time.

How it works

Step 1
Close enough to see the surface and the waterline. Most of the time that is enough for us to tell you what your pool needs before anybody drives anywhere.
Step 2
Free, at your house, on your schedule. We measure the perimeter, check the shell, the tile and the coping, and bring samples you can hold.
Step 3
Clear and upfront, in writing, before any work begins. You keep a copy — and nobody calls you three times a week afterwards.
Step 4
We build it back in order, then fill it and walk you through the first two weeks of brushing and chemistry, which is what makes a new surface last.
A surface-only job is about a week. Surface plus tile and coping is two to four. A new pool, a depth change or anything that needs a permit runs longer, because the plan check belongs to your building department and not to us. We tell you which one yours is at the estimate — and we would rather say four weeks and finish in three.
If something fails because of our workmanship within the first year, we come back and repair it. No cost, no argument — and it is in writing before we ever start, not promised verbally at the door.
