How to reach us
Whichever is easiest. All of them reach the same family.
Call
(951) 419-4206Fastest way to get an answer. If we are in a pool and cannot pick up, leave a message and you will get a call back.
Text
(951) 419-4206Same number, and the best option for this kind of work — send a photo of the pool and most of the time that is all we need to tell you what you are looking at.
Good for longer descriptions, several photos at once, or anything with attachments. Photos are welcome here too.
Hours
Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm
Sunday, closed
Text and email come in any time, Sunday included. If the pool is losing water fast or the surface is failing in sheets, say so and we will move you up.
Financing
Available — ask when you call
If the budget is what has been holding the project back, say so on the first call. We can talk through the options before you decide on scope, so you choose what the pool needs instead of choosing around a number.

Oscar Retana and his sons — the crew that will be in your backyard. CA’s Finest & Quality Pool Plastering Inc, Riverside County.
Who you will be talking to
Oscar picks up, not a call center
“I would rather tell somebody their pool has two more years in it than sell them a job they did not need.”
Twenty-one years on pool crews in the Inland Empire and more than a hundred renovations. Oscar is the one who comes out to look at your pool and the one who prices it — and on site it is him or one of his sons, every day the job is running.
Send him a photo of the pool from your phone and he will tell you what he is looking at and roughly where it lands. And if the honest answer is that your pool can wait another season, he will tell you that too.
We work in English and in Spanish. Llame, escriba o mande fotos en el idioma que prefiera y le contestamos en el mismo.
What happens next
No pressure, no sales visit
Nobody is going to sit in your kitchen until you sign something.
Step 1
You hear back
Same day, from Oscar himself. If we can tell you something useful from your photo before coming out, we will — including that your pool is not ready yet.
Step 2
We come out and look
Free, at a time that works for you. We measure the perimeter, check the shell, the tile and the coping, and bring samples you can hold and stand on.
Step 3
Fixed price in writing
Line by line, with what is included and what is not, so you can compare it properly against anyone else. No deposit to receive an estimate.
Step 4
You decide
In your own time. We are not going to call you three times a week, and the price does not expire at midnight.
Written guarantee on our workmanship
If something fails because of our workmanship within the first year, we come back and repair it. No cost, no argument — and it is in writing before we ever start, not promised verbally at the door.
Our testimonials
Real experiences. Real results.
Customers in their own words, and the reviews straight from our Google profile.
A customer on how the job went, start to finish.
Another customer, another backyard in Southern California.
Real reviews from real clients
Every one of them written by somebody whose pool we worked on, in Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Los Angeles or San Diego county. Several are in Spanish, because a good share of our customers are.
We would rather you read them before you call us than after.
Make it easy on yourself
What to send us
Two minutes on your side and we can usually tell you what your pool needs before anybody drives anywhere.
The most useful photo is a close one. Close enough to see the texture of the surface and the waterline — that is where the answer is. A rough, chalky wall, a hard white crust along the tile, a spot where the plaster has flaked off and the grey shell shows through: each of those points at a different job, and a photo shows it better than any description.
Then one wide shot of the whole pool, so we can see the shape, the deep end, the coping and how the yard is laid out around it. And if you already know your perimeter — the distance around the edge — send it, because that is the number we quote by. If you do not, do not worry about it; we measure it ourselves.
Tell us what city you are in, what you are thinking about doing, and roughly when. If you have a budget in mind, say it. Nobody is going to spend it just because you said it out loud, and it lets us tell you honestly what fits and what does not before either of us wastes an afternoon.
And if you are not sure what your pool needs at all, that is normal — most people call describing a symptom rather than a service. The table on the services page turns what you are seeing into what it probably is.
Helpful, not required
- A close photo of the surface and the waterline
- One wide shot of the whole pool
- The perimeter in feet, if you have measured it
- Your city or ZIP code
- What you are thinking about doing
- Roughly when you want it done
- A budget range, if you have one
Nothing here is required. A single photo and a city is enough to start.

What you are calling about
No stock photography — every project shown here is one of ours, in a real backyard around the Inland Empire.

Common questions
Before you call
A few things people usually want to know first.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Coming out, measuring the pool and putting a fixed price in writing costs you nothing, and there is no obligation attached to it.
There is also no deposit to receive an estimate. If anybody asks you for money before they have given you a written price, that is worth walking away from.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Ask us about it on the first call. Most of the people who call us have been putting the job off for two or three years, and the budget is usually the reason.
It is worth knowing your options before you decide on the scope, not after — otherwise people end up choosing around a number instead of choosing what the pool actually needs.
How far do you travel?
Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego counties — roughly an hour from Riverside in most directions. Most of our work is in Riverside, Redlands, Hemet, Murrieta, Corona and Anaheim.
If you are just outside that, ask. Depending on the size of the job it is often still worth the drive, and we would rather tell you yes or no than have you wonder.
Can I just send photos instead of meeting?
For telling you what your pool needs, yes — a close photo of the surface and the waterline is usually enough, and we will tell you honestly if the answer is that it is not ready yet.
For a price, no. We quote by the perimeter, and the rate depends on your city, the condition of the shell and how we get equipment into the yard. A number given without seeing the pool is a number that changes later, and that is exactly what everybody is afraid of.
Are you licensed?
Yes — CSLB #1148412. Go to cslb.ca.gov, type the number in, and you will see the status in about thirty seconds.
Do that with every contractor who quotes you, including us. It is the cheapest piece of due diligence there is and almost nobody does it.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A section of waterline tile, a patch, a spa on its own. Not everything has to be a complete remodel.
What we will tell you is when a patch is the wrong answer — new plaster against old plaster never matches, and if the surface is failing in several places you are spending the money twice.
¿Hablan español?
Sí. Oscar y su equipo hablan español. Llame, escriba o mande fotos en el idioma que prefiera y le contestamos en el mismo.
